Greensburg House
The Greensburg House was designed as a competition entry for a competition held as a green rebuilding effort for the town of Greensburg, Kansas. Greensburg was devastated by an F5 tornado, and the town has reacted with the utmost conscientiousness and persistence in their green planning strategies. As you can see in the graphic above, the home engages the outside with unique fold up doors that promote cross ventilation and stack effect.
