Nephew’s Crib

Jon designed and constructed this crib to meet federal production standards for cribs.  The methods of joinery allow the crib to be broken down for flat storage.  The contrasting wood is a mix of hard maple for the frame, bird’s eye maple for accent, and black walnut.  Each joint in the piece is highlighted with a simple wood contrast.  The project was a gift for Jon’s sister used by his nephew, Devin.
