Hand Carved Mantle

To construct a new residence, our client harvested a walnut tree.  At our suggestion, the client decided to incorporate the wood from the tree as a design element in the new home.  The mantle rests not far from the actual location where the tree once stood, and it is hand carved with an abstracted walnut leaf pattern.
